  Like everyone says here, portions are huuuge. I am a big guy and still can't finish those plates. Been going there for years and years and still the food is great. Lunch, supper, late night snack after a few brewski, any occasion is good. Friendly staff also. I don't personally know a soul that lives in Ottawa that haven't been to Shawarma Palace unless they're new to the city.

  I am a big fan of shawarma, tried a lot in Canada from Montreal to Toronto, but I would say this is the Best Shawarma in Canada. Massive quantity and decent price. Would love to go again.. Only critique is that they don't offer different size in sandwiches!

  When Ottawans discuss which shawarma place is the best in town, usually someone brings up Shawarma Palace! They have top-notch sandwiches and platters (veggie and meaty alike), and their garlic sauce is the only I've ever found that doesn't "bite" you with its garlicky flavour but still has that awesome intensity. Be sure to try their garlic potatoes!

  Most people agree that this is the best shawarma in town. I mostly agree. The lineups around dinner time can be long but the guys behind the counter have a pretty efficient system going so it doesn't take them long to drive through the queue. The only thing I'll critique is that they only offer one sandwich size. A small or large option would be nice.

  The place is nice. A great place for a quick meal. The staff are just alright here. This place used to be 2 stores before they made it into one business. The bathroom downstairs needs work.
