  Love this place. I go at least once each time I'm in Ottawa. Food is good, drinks are good, service is good, patrons are friendly... solid pub.

  As a fellow Canadian patriot, I can appreciate that the Riverside Pub won't allow any Neo-Nazi groups congregating in their pub and discussing their ideas in a public place.
  
  Couple that with the great food and service, I can say for certain that the Riverside is a true Canadian establishment.

  Amazing neighbourhood pub...nothing fancy but they have great food and daily specials...they do breakfast too even though not on their menu. Friendly staff and good selection of beer on tap. Highly recommend you stop by and check it out for yourself!

  Having just received the following from a trusted source, I would never ever go to that Riverside Pub:
  
  "According to a source who was at the meeting At 9:30 PM ET at The Riverside Pub on 3673 Riverside Dr. in Ottawa on June 1st, a waiter who overheard table conversation by a group of people meeting to discuss Canadian anti-free-speech motion, M-103, and opposition to it, asked the group: “What are you guys meeting about?” The Proud Boys, who were at the meeting, answered that the group was against the current Canadian government’s policies and the organization of a freedom of speech rally.
  
  The waiter said “You are not answering my question. What specific policy?”
  
  The table answered M-103.
  
  The waiter responded with: “I know what you are all about. get up, get out, its all on the house” according to our source who was at the meeting."

  A pub that won't allow racist extremists to use its facilities as a meeting spot = a pub that prioritizes the safety and comfort of its guests & its neighbours. Kudos to the Riverside! NO PUBS FOR NAZIS!!!
