  A small, dark Vietnamese restaurant. The lights were off during the daytime, and it was only overcast outside, so the place was rather dim, even seated next to the window. I think the staff were fighting over the lights because they kept being turned up and then back down, and up and down about 3 times while we were there. The coy pond is an interesting feature when you first walk in, but is otherwise surrounded by bland hard surfaces, making the place feel noisy even when there were very few people in it. The water splashing in the coy pond echoed throughout the place. They were not at all busy at lunch time. We were only the 2nd occupied table at around 12:20pm, though there were maybe 4 or 5 occupied tables when we left, out of roughly 15(?) tables.
  
  After ordering our two dishes, the first dish arrived in about 2 minutes, which was awesome, but the 2nd dish didn't arrive for another 5 minutes. The server kept saying "it's coming right away", every time she came past. In the meantime, I could wait and let my plate get cold, or start eating while the other waited, or send my dish back to stay warm until the 2nd was ready. Not cool, either way.
  
  The chicken curry with rice and the beef curry with vermicelli were pretty decent and tasty, but nothing spectacular as curries go, and they were almost entirely vegetable with very little actual chicken or beef. The curry sauce was quite mild and very thin/watery, nothing like the good Indian curries I'm used to, or that I make myself.
  
  2 soft drinks and 2 curries came to over $30 after tax & tip, so the value really wasn't very good either.
  
  It was okay in a pinch, since we were right next-door, but I would never otherwise purposefully go there when other choices are available nearby.

  Decent food to prices. Clean and generally quiet. I would appreciate it if the food was more authentic and less directed towards North American palates.
