  My family have been frequenting this local family run restaurant since it opened. The food is excellent and the staff always make you feel welcome. They also do take away. Lunchtime and Friday evenings are really busy so call for a reservation if that is your timing. A true gem in the suburbs.

  There was a recent thread on Reddit in which people discussed the best Indian restaurant in the Ottawa area. Rangoli's name came up a few times (as did Coconut Lagoon) so I decided to give it a try. It's a bit out of the way, but not more than twenty minutes drive from downtown, and well worth it.
  
  The restaurant is quite large but laid out in such a way that you don't feel like you're floating in a sea of tables. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic. I had the thali, and unlike any other Indian restaurant I've been to, with Rangoli's thali you get to choose the main curry. It was very tasty, and not tremendously spicy. The thali included a gulab jamun that was good, though a bit heavy for my liking. I prefer them a bit looser, with more syrup, but the flavour was very nice.
  
  There were lots of vegetarian options, but the one thing I found missing was a vegetarian vindaloo. Overall, though, a great choice and I'll definitely come again.

  Best Indian Cuisine around! So delicious and good prices. Also has a bakery. Authentic decor and place settings. Friendly staff and delicious food! They have a great lunch special as well!

  I've been coming here for 7+ years, so I've had just about the entire menu. The lunch special is a no brainer. My kids love the Butter Chicken, and the value proposition makes it an easy choice versus McDonald's. Fresh, well prepared Indian food, presented quickly, at a fair price.
  
  My wife always gets the Vindaloo, and I usually get the Saag (which is delicious if you haven't tried it).
  
  The servers are friendly and accommodating. Denise had seen my kids grow up over our regular visits!

  Good food but the drivers DO NOT READ THE NOTES !! INSTRUCTED TO NOT RING THE DOOR BELL AND STILL RANG THE DOORBELL AND WOKE UP THE BABY. This happened more then 1 occasion
