  What a great meal. The ribs were so succulent, the chicken so juicy and tender. Homemade desserts were so tasty, and so much more delicious than mass production desserts in so many restaurants these days. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I actually forgot myself and did not take one photo- yes, it was that good. I so highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, and my deepest compliments, again, to the Chef.

  Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The brisket and spare ribs were perfectly cooked and so tasty and I have never enjoyed bake beans as much. The service was excellent. If you like good food at a reasonable price and want to encourage a local business, this is the place to go. Not only are you encouraging this local family business but because they are buying their supplies from a long list of local farms and businesses you end up supporting more local entrepreneurs.

  OMG!!! Fantastic. Found this online. Liked their story and wanted to support local business....was not expecting this level of cuisine. Price is well worth it and a good value for the return. Hosting a get together? Not sure what to serve? Can't go wrong with this.

  Best BBQ place in the Ottawa region currently. All different meats were excellent. The ribs were perfect and not too sweet. Pulled pork had flavour but wasn't overwhelming with sauce. The chicken was moist and perfectly done as well.

  Popped here for lunch with a friend. Staff was super friendly and obviously passionate about BBQ. One of the owners offered to give me a little tour of their smoker, and was keen to answer my questions.
  
  I had brisket and Caesar salad, and odd as it sounds, and as good as the brisket was, the Caesar was a standout! It was loaded with little smokey rib nuggets and was just delicious.
  
  The place is small and encourages seating with strangers, which is typical for BBQ joints.
  
  They use local everything where they can, which is great.
  
  There is a good selection of meats and sides. Next time I'll be trying the chicken.
  
  I'll definitely be back, and I hope that they are successful!
