  From the penthouse to the basement.
  
  I lived Barrhaven and shopped at the most excellent flag ship Loblaws store there. Now the I have moved from there to Vanier I am unfortunately forced to shop at the 100 McArthur store.
  This store is such a pathetic excuse for a food store.........poor service, long lines, continuously missing stock. At 20 % of items not priced or labelled. At least the pharmacy is excellent.

  I think 99.9% of all Loblaws stores are phenomenal. I shop @ the one in Kanata w/my Mother all the time & just couldn't be happier w/the selection the service the quality, everything!!! Then I come back home to the Vanier area & I'd much rather shop @ a FreshCo or a Food Basics.
  The service, well if you need help or ask a question, forget about it, cause what little staff you see will avoid you @ all cost. They NEVER, EVER have enough cashiers open.
  When you walk into any Loblaws it's always a treat because of the selection the, the staff always there to help you, but most of all the CLEANLINESS of all your stores is usually impeccable, unless you live or shop in Vanier cause the store is Awful!!! I saw a cockroach walking along where all the frozen vegetables are a few weeks back & mentioned it to a young fellow working there, his response was to get another coworker & laugh his a** off. Myself, I didn't see the humour.
  Like I said all your stores are usually just such a joy & so pleasant to shop in, but I just hate that the one gawd awful store that you have, has to be the one near me.
  All my friends & family shop @ your stores because they're just fantastic, especially your Kanata store near Terry Fox, it's always, always, always a treat to shop in, just wish I could say the same about your Vanier store.
  Thanks for listening, keep up your wonderful work in those 99.9% of your stores, but sure would love to see something done about the one lousy store, that's tarnishing your wonderful name & reputation.

  I goto buy cream for my coffee at 6am on a Tuesday. I only have cash so I waited 10 min to be able to purchase the cream. I feel that this is awful customer service. It took longer to wait for a cashier then getting the cream at the back of the store.

  I really like that they are open 24 hours. Very large grocery store so you can find just about anything you need. Only real downside is the meat selection. The meat selection is very poor very expensive. I buy just about everything here but never buy any meat (even though I do take a look every time just in case).
  
  Bakery is nice with a large selection of fresh breads. Also a huge selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.
  
  Btw, the pharmacy for getting prescription drugs is not open 24hours and they lock up the more expensive over the counter drugs in the evenings (like the brand name cold medicines).
  
  None the less, still a very good store to buy from.
