  Came in on a Thursday evening to a packed dining room. We were seated at the bar to wait for a table to open up. We were given water but not asked if we wanted any other drinks. After a few minutes we were seated and given menus. Service was fair for the rest of the experience and the food was prepared extremely quickly considering the amount of guests in the restaurant. My girlfriend and I ordered geang panang (one with chicken and one vegetarian) and they were both fantastic. They were fairly heavy and generously spiced - but the result was awesome! Certainly among some of the best curries I've had. It was a bit pricier than I would have expected for the same dish at other establishments, but very comparably priced to other restaurant in the Byward market. Good experience and will likely be back to try more if I find myself in the market craving Thai!

  Great service - staff were attentive and extremely knowledgeable about their menu. The Pad Thai was delicious. Cozy little place with great food!

  This is the fifth Thai restaurant I've visited in Ottawa. I thought I found the best on Bank Street but Khao Thai is excellent. As usual, I had the Green Curry and loved it. The only thing left was a small pea!
  A great place to visit if you're in the Market.

  Told us we had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table for 2. A send couple showed up while we were waiting and asked if there was a table and they were promptly seated right away and we were left to wait longer.
  
  I'm sure the food tastes great, although it is quite clear that customer service isn't their first priority.
