  I want to start with saying that I love Chinese food, especially when there is a touch of authenticity in it. I was shopping around Kanata Centrum the other day and was pleasantly surprised to find this little restaurant inside a residential area. I ordered my favourite General Taos Chicken along with Black Bean Beef, and a dish of Snow Peas. And wow, all the dishes came up very quickly and smelled delicious. You could tell that this was a family owned restaurant since the waitress did not speak perfect english, but provided superb service. But..back to the food. The general taos chicken is by far one of the best I have ever had, it was tender with the right level of spice and sauce. I've had many disappointing ones before where it is too sweet, it was fried too much and the batter is too hard, or it was just dry in the middle. But this one was amazing, it was authentic. The Black Bean Beef and Snow Peas also tasted delicious and served fresh and steaming.

  Went for dinner with family tonight and was impressed with the family friendly atmosphere. Always happy to support local family businesses rather than big franchises and learn about the story behind their success. Happy to note that this is another example of what diversity brings to the kanata area!

  Had lunch at this local Kanata family restaurant today and food and service was great. I had better food elsewhere before but the service provided by the co-owner Jessica was amazing, she was able to get the chef to customized our food. Price is reasonable and there's many chinese options like Har Gow dumplings which is hard to find in Kanata. At the end, they offered us free mango pudding as desert which is great. Would definitely come back.

  Horrible. They had cockroaches all around on the table we were at. Very unhygienic place.
