  The food was very homey and delicious. All vegetarian with ample, clearly labeled, vegan options.
  Because it is pay by weight it can be quite expensive. My husband and I each had a plate that was full, but not heaping or ridiculous, and it came to $34. Dessert is charged on top of that at about $4-$5. So, it's not more expensive than many restaurants, but it feels pricey for what you get and a cafeteria-type atmosphere.
  All that said, we had a great meal and will go again!

  The best vegetarian / vegan restaurant in Ottawa without question. The Green Door never compromise​s on quality; for what you pay you get a whole lot. The restaurant keeps it local, and organic; it uses the highest quality, oils, spices, herbs, produce, legumes, and ingredients. It is the most consistent in it's dishes; which will always impress your taste buds and put a smile on your face. The selection is huge, and your plate will be full of choices for salads, hot food, and dessert The Green Door has been doing vegetarian food right since 1988, without compromise. Vegetables are delicious here!

  Amazing restaurant. Never disappoints. The meals are epically delicious and the deserts are to die for. Done by weight. Small selection of wine beer and organic beverages. One of my favorite restaurants in town. None of the vegetable dishes are pretending to be meat and I love that. I go here once a month with my family and have been since I was a kid. Two things up, highly recommended

  Wow the food is just incredible. Found this place randomly and so happy I did. Food is priced by weight and unlike whole foods the prices are quite reasonable. Taste is amazing and so is coffee! Very chill and simple vibe. Nothing frilly or fancy!

  If I lived or worked closer to this restaurant, I'd be there all the time. Wonderful selection of healthy vegetarian food with gluten free options; I'm not even vegetarian but I love it. You pay by the weight so you can have as much or as little as you're feeling up to that day. It's a self-serve place with a cozy atmosphere.
