  Food is pretty good and the selection is ok. Service is friendly other than the older lady behind the cash who is really pushy on customers to leave a tip. I mean, it's a buffet, the waitress tops up your water and takes away your empty plates. Not impressed with her considering I always leave my server at least a 5 or a 10 spot. Other than that it's pretty good.

  I've had these egg rolls my entire life and I live in Virginia. I beg my relatives who live in Canada to always bring me down a bunch. By far the best (and only) egg rolls I'll ever eat.

  A well-established spot in Ottawa. Probably the best Chinese food I've had in the city at this price level. The vibe is really chill. I appreciate the service and I enjoy seeing the clients in the restaurant. It's one of the few spots in the city where it's actually interesting to watch the other people at the restaurant. Golden Palace somehow attracts interesting characters, or perhaps they become interesting once inside.
  
  The food is always good. We always get egg rolls, fried won ton, and the guy toy soup as starters. These are all very good, and the soup always makes me feel like I'm doing my body a favour (maybe it's the ginger). We switch around the mains, but the servers remember that we repeat these appetizers, and they remember (somehow) what mains we've ordered in the past.
  
  I always feel good coming to this place. I'm happy when I get there, and I'm happy and satisfied when I leave.

  Best eagg rolls in North America. If I want to please my wife, a native Ottawan, I get egg rolls chicken balls and chicken fried rice. Always a pleasant meal!

  Egg rolls are quite delicious. We ordered an assortment of dishes, and they were all freshly made, not too salty and very satisfying. Service is awesome. Very attentive and quick with witty and somehow sarcastic humour. Overall ambiance was perfect, and exactly what I was hoping for in a successful Chinese restaurant that has been in business for over 55 years!!! Though on the pricy side, well worth it. Highly recommend. All credit cards accepted, reservations accepted as well. Ample parking, with extra across street at closed business.
