  Service sucks. My water didn't even come right. The second glass came very dirty. My hot chocolate came extremely dirty and no napkin or anything. Once the waitress realised we weren't ordering booze she basically ignored us. We hadn't been in a few years but use to be regulars and we won't be back again for a few years at least.

  Good pub food, good music, fresh Guinness, slow service. Come in and relax.
  
  We came for an appetizer and pints in the bar on Friday night. There was an entertaining musician we enjoyed. Ordered a hot dip appetizer (made in house) and it took some time. The server had ordered the wrong one. She fixed it and all was well. The artichoke and spinach dip served with white and red tortilla chips was really good.
  
  We returned for lunch the next day. Again, slow service. This time it took about 90 minutes for our lunch, and it wasn't that busy. The server would disappear for long stretches of time. We ordered a club sandwich, Guinness burger, bacon burger - all with salads. They were all really good.
  
  Would return, knowing there's no urgency among the staff.

  Food and service was very good. But we feel ripped off. Our lunch came to $43 so we gave them a $50 gift certificate we got from a friend for Christmas. There was no $7 change my wife was told the management keeps the extra. Can you get the $7 towards your tip? My wife asked. No the restaurant gets the $7 difference the waiter said. So we left a cash tip. But will never be back.

  Food is good pub food, service can be quite slow at times, however, always friendly. Great place to arrive with your friends. Although this is not like the Ottawa pub, it has its own charm.
