  Being the only Dairy Queen in the Barrhaven area, it gets quite busy during the summer months. However, the lineup is never stagnant and it seems as though the manger/owner properly forecasts the busy times and staffs accordingly. Food is always great as well!

  please do something about the serving floor.. it is so dirty looking that I think they need to replace tiles and start over... its great that sales are so high that you cant clean the floor.. but its a turn-off.... service is good... quality of food/ice cream is good...

  Considering how busy this location is, they do decently well at keeping up with the cleaning and serving. One of the main problems I've seen is that when younger people come into the store they don't seem to think they need to clean up after themselves, leaving their garbage on the tables or making a mess with condiments. The staff are very focused on keeping up with the demand of the customers waiting in line and its understandable when its hard to break away from that to clean up after people who can't simply throw out their own garbage. Some of the things on the menu do take some time to make or cook, so be a little patient when you order food items or more complicated treats.

  This particular Dairy Queen franchise has been a family favorite for many years, when turning for a quick dessert option on a hot day, or even for a light, and affordable snack.
  
  The facilities are clean, and offers an average service, that is standard at all restaurants. Food is served with care, and the tables, and washrooms, are sanitized.
  
  A recommendation to anyone looking for a casual trip for dessert.
