  We feel like family when we go there. The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh pasta made on the spot. Live cooking in front of your table for certain dishes. Best kept secret of Orleans fine dining!

  Simply the best Italian food and service. You think you have had good Italian in Ottawa until you try Da Nonna Maria, this place sets the bar. Cozy atmosphere, entertaining and spot on service, the fresh pasta and home made sauces are out of this world. We will be back again and again!

  I went to Da Nonna Maria for my Dad's birthday. Jessica and Luigi were incredibly kind and welcoming. They answered all our questions about the menu and let us take our time deciding. Everything was delicious (my personal favourites were the olive oil and bread, the mussels, the caprese salad, and the freshly made pasta). Afterwards they brough my Dad a slice of delicious cake and took a Polaroid for my family to bring home. As we were leaving we were asking about Luigi's pasta machine, and he turned it on for us! My Mum loved it so much she asked for us to cancel the Mother's Day brunch at another restaurant so she could go to Da Nonna Maria instead. I highly recommend!

  Greeted in a friendly and caring manner. The lasagna is the best I have ever tasted, and my mother in law is Italian and makes great lasagna! Me and Mom go religiously. A real taste experience. They also have gluten free.

  Decided to try a new place one night, and I'm so glad we did -- it's a cozy, little restaurant with excellent, fresh food and character.
  
  I especially loved the Veal Parmesagna and the fresh pasta -- and the owners (Luigi and Jessica), who are not only accommodating but go out of their way to make you feel like family.
  
  I don't even live in Orleans and I was back the very next week to bring my mother for Mother's Day - and now she loves it as much as I do. :)
