  I visited this morning, I have never written a bad review on a restaurant, thinking someone is just having a bad day. However, my experience at Cora's in Kanata absolutely turned me off. I had a Jo construction (my usual at other Cora's) and had to return my plate to the kitchen. the place was about 50% full or empty so it was not that busy. The potatoes were warmish, the bacon cold like milk out of the fridge and the sausage were the same. They felt cold to the touch and were tasteless. My plate came back with new eggs, and potatoes and sausage were just warm... I think the cook should have learned something... but no! Last time they see me there.

  Delicious brunch food, most dishes served with plenty of fruit. Both healthy and not-so-healthy choices available. My favourite hollandaise sauce. Don't forget to grab a delicious chunk of fudge on the way out!!

  My personal experience, so take with a grain of salt. We used to have breakfast all the time at this place. Then, we noticed the service was slowing down a bit so we went to a different place(much less selections) for a while. Today, we decided to try it again, since they do have a very good menu. Well, two third through our meal, we did NOT get any refill or anyone passing by to see if we needed anything(napkin was missing from the beginning and I have to get it myself). My wife was gesturing the waitress several times in order to get a refill. The waitress either did not see us or she was ignoring us. Finally, my wife got her. She refilled my wife coffee and promised to bring my hot water for the tea.... You guess it right, I never got that hot water. I spoke with the owner when paying the bill and he brought waitress and she claimed that she gave me the hot water(maybe she did forget it...) In any case, the owner took the tea off the bill and I left 5% tip. It was Saturday morning and I wanted a happy meal to start the day. Instead, I am writing this review...

  Good food and service! But it's often crowded in late mornings, so you have to wait for a while. The best seats are by the window but they have just a few of them and it's almost not possible to get them. I often got an impression that owners trying to save on staff, so dishes are not taken of the table for a long time, long time to get your order and then long wait to actually get a meal. Overall it's a pleasant spot but I'd recommend to avoid rush hours to get the best experience.

  Great place for breakfast. Excellent fresh fruit. Great customer service. Very friendly servers. I will be back for sure
