  This place blows me away. I usually am hesitant to rate 5 stars just for the sake of it but I'll gladly give them the full count. I've only been twice but both experiences have been far above average. Closest feel that I've had to a proper English pub, solidified by the numerous portraits of English royalty on the wall surrounding the entrance. Food is some of the best you can find for pub fare with some pleasant grilled options in addition.Beer selection is broad and varied with plenty of local options. Service was great both times. Will definitely be heading back.

  Great traditional English-style country pub with exception range of on tap and bottled brews. Owner-manager very cheerful and solicitous publican. Lots of parking under normal circumstances. Easy access from Hwy 417/Carp Rd. Well appointed main floor with smaller upper room.

  Excellent pub atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff and amazing food. The vegetarian pizza and the veggie burger are the bomb!
  
  Also, their salads are deliciously impressive, using only the freshest ingredients sourced from local farms in the Ottawa Valley area.
  
  The Cat does it's best to support local as much as possible. So much so, that they have indicated the distances of the breweries from the pub to show just how close to home the beer was brewed. Makes for an interesting conversation piece and a great way to learn about how far your beer had to travel to reach your pint glass.
  
  The decor inside is traditional pub style with one-of-a-kind memorabilia adorning the walls to make it extra interesting and unique.
  
  The large patio outside is heated for those cooler summer nights and you will find a cozy red fleece blanket on each chair to ensure maximum comfort at all times.

  Cozy, English pub that offers a full experience of one. The atmosphere and decor is perfect for the name of the place. Drinks menu has something for everyone. Exceptional, whole new level, pub fare. Freshly made food and in-house made deserts to finish off your meal. Much enjoyed, thank you!

  Very good pub food for the price. The Yorkshire Pudding with beef is my favorite. Very friendly staff too. Don't forget to check out the fridge at the entrance. The cappuccino ice cream is just delicious. Only thing that I didn't appreciate was pop refills aren't free.
