  This is the original Barley Mow pub. Consistently good pub food, and friendly service. A neighborhood favorite. If you're in for dinner, I highly recommend the Pub Curry (if you ask they'll serve it over fries instead of rice which is even tastier).

  Bad experience. Staff, not helpful with listing & choosing the beer. Finally asked for Mill St. Organic. Tasted like water and flat. When we mentioned it to the bartender, he said, " Yeah, that's a light beer"! I know that it is not of course and it certainly never tasted like water before. On top of that, when we ordered another type of beer, he remarked that if we did not like that one we might have to try somewhere else! One thing for sure, the two men there should not be working as bartenders. And for some reason, the place smelled like my garage in winter when mice were living in it. Very disappointing.
