  The place is beautiful and the staff are really friendly! However, the food was only mediocre. I found most of the food to be bland...they have the potential to be great as they offer a great selection of gluten free and healthy foods. The taste is just not the best.

  The food was good and was replaced fast enough (would be better if they replaced food when there were only the dregs left, not after it was totally empty). The taste was of a higher end note over the usual cheaper buffet dining has to offer, but the price is what hurts the most. At most this should be 18 to 20 after tax, the 25 dollars is too much for their selection. I didn't try any beer but that looked well priced and had a very interesting menu (from local microbreweries?) I would go back for only drinks or if they drop their price about 20%

  Very friendly staff, exceptional food, lovely decor, brilliant concept! The waiters do an extraordinary job fulfilling guests' wants and needs, frequently coming over and asking how the food is (and the temperature of the food is always warm - thank you very much). I have come here 5 times in nearly 2-3 weeks (my go-to place for eating out), and I highly, highly recommend this buffet. Long live (Viva) Viva International Buffet! :)

  I thought I was treating my friend to a nice dinner but we both agreed we would never go back or recommend Viva to anyone. We reviewed the menu outside to be sure it was worth it but once we saw the buffet it was missing many of the dishes the menu said the buffet had. The food was pretty bland, nothing really stood out and the presentation was meh. With Mandarin coming to Kanata, I don't think Viva will do too well unfortunately.
